Bipartisan Support Growing for Lezny, Brant, Georges, and Guy

Because results matter more than party affiliation

In Franklin Township, political lines are often drawn sharply. But this election season, something different is happening: residents from both parties are stepping forward to support change at the local level.

Candidates for Township Council - Christopher Lezny (Ward 1), Jan Brant (Ward 2), Sophia Georges (Ward 3), and Benjamin Guy (Ward 4) -are running grassroots campaigns focused on issues that matter to every family: affordability, public safety, responsible development, and preserving quality of life in Franklin.

What has surprised many is the visible, public support from Democrats across town. Many Democratic households have placed campaign signs for Lezny, Brant, Georges, and Guy on their lawns. In a community where party identity often weighs heavily, that decision is not always easy. It takes courage to show neighbors, friends, and passersby that local issues come first.

“We are deeply grateful to every Democrat who has put up one of our signs,” said the campaign team. “We know it’s not always easy to break with tradition and display support publicly. But it proves that our message resonates: Franklin deserves leadership that listens to everyone, regardless of party.”

This year’s election is about more than partisanship - it’s about ensuring Franklin Township has a balanced council that can ask tough questions, stop reckless overdevelopment, and protect residents from skyrocketing taxes.

The bipartisan support shows a growing consensus: local government should be about solutions, not party labels.  Thank you for your support, Franklin Township. We love our community and we appreciate all of you!
